If you’re looking for an overnight junket, Laughlin is the place. It’s quiet, relaxing, interesting and when viewing the Colorado River — breathtaking. This is the slow season there, which may make a 90-mile trek to the Arizona border more appealing. The Flamingo Diner is the popular eating spot for the lunch crowd in this resort. The price is reasonable and the burger is excellent, though a little on the small side. The service is excellent. In all, a definite place to stop for lunch when in Laughlin.
