Cannery celebrates second anniversary

The Cannery Casino & Hotel celebrates its second anniversary with special "Canniversary" events during the month of January.

The Detroit All Stars visit The Club January 1-2 to kick off the festivities. The band features four members of the Detroit Police Department and Detroit Public School Department. The show begins at 8 p.m. and admission is free.

On Jan. 3, the Cannery will celebrate the anniversary of opening its doors by serving free cake and champagne from noon to 8 p.m. on the casino floor. The Cannery Girls will be handing out free t-shirts and 5x points can be earned all day.

Other special events include the chance to win up to $1,500 each Thursday in January during the $50,000 Canniversary Cash Giveaway, and the Food and Beverage department will feature month-long specials such as two-for-one enchiladas at Casa Cocina and a $14.95 steak and lobster tail special at Victory’s Café.

Cannery Casino & Hotel is located in North Las Vegas at the corner of Craig and Losee roads. It is owned by Cannery Casino Resorts, LLC. Cannery Casino & Hotel features 201 guest rooms; a 50,000-square-foot gaming area; and The Club, an indoor/outdoor entertainment & festival venue and pool area. Food and beverage outlets include Victory’s Cafe, Victory’s Booze & Bets, Cannery Row Buffet, Waverly’s Steakhouse, Casa Cocina Mexican Restaurant, Casa Cocina Bar, Pin-Ups Lounge and The Club Bar.
