Barrick Bowl cheerleaders and a visually challenged referee will lead the Plaza Hotel and Casino in a football themed frenzy that starts at the main entrance and carries through the entire property now through Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 6.

A gigantic slot machine featuring the Barrick Bowl theme will be set up for free pulls daily starting at 4 p.m. Every guest is guaranteed a prize, ranging from Barrick green footballs to show tickets at the Comedy Zone, Stars of the Strip and Larry G. Jones, "Man of 1,002 Voices," dinner for two at Manetti’s Italian Restaurant or a pair of tickets to the Sunday Celebrity Brunch.

The top prize is an opportunity to win cash in the "Whirlwind of Cash" machine. The football themed characters will be displayed on the slot machine and throughout the property, featuring a cheerleader, a wide-grinning football player, a blind referee, the Barrick "footballs" and a frenzied football fan.

"We’re adding a touch of Vegas to the excitement of football season," said Phil Flaherty, chief operation officer of Barrick Gaming Corporation, parent company of the Plaza Hotel and Casino. "Our goofy characters will lighten the mood for even the most fanatical football fans."

Guests are allowed no more than one pull per day and their prizes are available for pick-up at the Barrick Play Club booth. All guests must be at least 21-years-old with valid identification.
