Upon seeing the announcement about Hardee’s (Carl’s Jr. out here) soon to arrive "Monster Burger" we decided to trek to the place where many a collegiate meal was spent. BK has changed for the worse since the glory days in Gamecock Country. The burgers and buns were larger, thicker and better. Today’s style is to mass produce as many as humanly possible to rake in the bucks. The latest burger we consumed at BK was good enough, but the fries were an outrage. Small in amount, tasteless and lukewarm. Cold within two minutes. Wendy’s remains our new fast food burger winner among the big three. Fatburgers and Sonic are our personal favorites, except at the Big F you have to wait forever at the drive-thru.
