On the way to a photo shoot at Santa Fe Station, we stumbled upon the Foothills Ranch, an attractive way to fill the stomach with our favorite food. And, the burger is a hit — big, juicy and well cooked. But the fries and drinks are a horror. Guys, get rid of those frenchies with the skin still attached. They’re ugly and take away from the taste of typical fries. Also, the drink (in this case Coke) was terrible. Order cans and not from the tap. The service was fine and the Wild Horse has great potential if ownership corrects those problems.
