National Airlines has launched a winter fare sale, offering fares as low as $68 roundtrip between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and $258 roundtrip between New York and Las Vegas. Tickets must be purchased by December 8, 2000. Travel is good between December 4, 2000 and February 14, 2001. "In the spirit of the holiday season, National Airlines is giving travelers the opportunity to take advantage of low fares throughout our entire route system. We are confident that customers will find the combination of our low fares and high quality service a real holiday value," said Mark S. Suman, senior vice president - strategic planning. He noted that National Airlines recently was ranked above all U.S. major airlines in quality service by Conde Nast Traveler magazine's "2000 Reader's Choice Awards".
Tickets must be purchased by December 8, 2000.Travel is available between December 4, 2000 and February 14, 2001. Blackout dates of December 28, 29, 2000 and January 1, 2, 26, 29, 2001 apply. Tickets require a seven-day advance purchase and a minimum stay of one night. Off-peak fares are defined as travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Seating is limited and may not be available on certain flights, dependent upon customer response. Fares do not include Passenger Facility Charges (PFCs) of up to $3 for each segment, and a federal excise tax of up to $2.75 for each segment of the itinerary (a segment is defined as one takeoff and landing) where applicable. These fares do not apply to previous reservations and/or purchased tickets. Other restrictions apply.
National Airlines customers traveling to Las Vegas and staying at Harrah's Las Vegas Casino Hotel or the Rio All-Suite Casino Resort also are offered complimentary baggage delivery service that allows them to check their luggage from their origination directly to the hotel. Customers can also check in for their return flight at the National Flight Center located in the lobbies of these two hotels and proceed directly to the airplane for boarding, bypassing airport check-in counters.
The Winter Sale Fares are eligible for credit in National Comps, the airline's frequent flyer program. National Comps Points can be redeemed for free air transportation on National Airlines, first class upgrades, and more. In addition, Comps Points can be converted into credits in Harrah's and Rio's player program, Total Rewards, allowing members to earn rewards from the two Las Vegas hotels.
