The craps tables at The Cal will be scorching this weekend as the downtown casino celebrates its 9th annual Golden Arm Reunion.

Members of the California Hotel’s exclusive club, which now numbers 171 players, are inducted after holding the dice for an hour or longer over the past 12 months.

Last year, a Wall of Fame was created on the bridge that links the California with its sister property, Main Street Station.

New inductees this year include Pesi Silva, Arthur Hamabata and David Ventura, all of the Hawaiian Islands.

Started in 1989, the Golden Arm’s first honoree was Stanley Fujitake, who held the dice at a Cal craps table for an astounding three hours and six minutes before "sevening out."

The honorees began holding reunions in 1997.

The celebration, which starts Thursday and continues through the weekend, will include a party for Golden Arm members, and a tournament in which casino dice players will vie for 12 top spots and a chance to win $10,000 in cash prizes.
