Arizona Charlie’s
Decatur and Boulder are both giving away lots of free gas during
the "Free Gas Frenzy" promotion now in effect through Friday, July 22.
Ultimate Rewards Club members can earn drawing entries based on casino play and
will be eligible to win one of the daily 100 free tanks of gas or one of the
weekly free gas for a year prizes. Every 50 Action Cash points earned in a
single day equals one entry. After earning entries, players will be eligible for
the following day’s drawing. To see if they are one of the 50 winners (per
property) of one tank of gasoline, they must swipe their Ultimate Rewards card
at a designated kiosk the following day between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday
through Friday. The tank of gasoline is awarded in the form of $40 cash (based
on Department of Transportation information). For the weekly "Free Gas for
a Year" drawings, players must be present at the live drawing to win.
Ultimate Rewards Club members can win one time per weekly drawing. The weekly
drawings are held on Thursdays at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. The "Free Gas for a
Year" is awarded in the form of $2,000 cash ($40 per tankx 50 weeks, based
on Department of Transportation information).
Downtown, the former Binion’s
Horseshoe has been renamed Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel. The new
Club Binion’s no longer offers cash back, but the owners are definitely
interested in satisfying customers with good promotions and better comps. Triple
points are being offered on an ongoing basis on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, players who earn 2,500 points receive $10 in
cash with no points deducted. Or earn 10,000 points points and receive $25 cash.
(There are no levels in-between.) New members signing up for Club Binion’s
during the month of June will receive a free travel mug. And coming up for
Father’s Day, earn just 600 points (50 cents per point) and receive a free
flashlight/tool kit as a gift.
"Winning Will Find You"
is the current promotion running at Harrah’s Las Vegas and the Rio
along with 17 additional Harrah’s casinos across the USA. Casino guests can
simply sign up for a Total Rewards slot club card to receive a free 12-pack of
Coke or Diet Coke and a voucher for a free Blockbuster movie rental. Existing
Harrah’s Total Rewards members can collect the goodies on Thursdays and
Sundays only. Guests also receive a collectible "WinFinder" key chain
that could be worth up to $1,000. One in every seven "WinFinders"
distributed at the casinos will light up within two hours, awarding customers up
to $1,000 in cash. Thirty-eight specially marked cans of Coca-Cola classic are
inside 12-packs distributed at the participating casinos. Each eligible
recipient of a winning can will receive a place in Harrah’s 2005 $1 million
Winning Will Find You event to be held at Showboat in Atlantic City after
the conclusion of the promotion later this summer. The promotion ends June 29.
