Churchill directors elected

Four Class III directors were elected to the board of directors of Churchill Downs Inc. (CHDN) at the company’s annual shareholders meeting.

Elected were:

Robert Fealy, CFO and a director of Duchossois Industries Inc., the privately held company owned by Dick Duchossois, largest single stockholder in Churchill Downs Inc.;

Daniel Harrington, president and CEO of HTV Industries Inc. and former chairman and president of Ellis Park Race Course, Inc.;

Carl Pollard, owner of Hermitage Farm, the horse breeding establishment, and

Darrell Wells, general partner, Security Management Company.

Alliance Gaming Corp. (AGI) has announced the election of Stephen M. Race as a member of the company’s board of directors. Race most recently served as interim CEO for Full Degree, an enterprise software company.

The compensation committee of Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. (PNK) has granted stock options to several of the company’s top executives.

Dan Lee, the chairman and CEO, was granted 600,000 options; Wade W. Hundley, president, 88,610 options, and 10,000 options each to the following members of the board of directors: John V. Giovenco, Richard J. Goeglein, Timothy J. Parrott, Michael Ornest, Bruce Leslie, James Martineau and Lynn P. Reitnouer.

The options are exercisable at a price of $14.70 per share, the closing price of the company’s stock on May 3.

At the beginning of trading on Monday, shares of Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. were priced at $18.87.
