Titanic exhibit lands at the Tropicana

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is now on view at the Tropicana Resort & Casino through October 31, 2005, featuring hundreds of artifacts recovered from the wreck site including a suitcase, a felt bowler hat, the ship’s whistles, glassware etched with the logo of the elite White Star Line and even a massive piece of the ship itself.

Now, Las Vegas local’s can save money and see the exhibit by just presenting their library card. Simply present a LVCCLD (Las Vegas-Clark County Library District) card at the box office and receive a $4 discount on admission.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission prices are: Adults (age 12 to 61) are $16.95, seniors (ages 62 and up) pay $15.95, Nevada residents, $13.95 and children (ages 4-11), $9.95. For the July 4th holiday weekend, one of the Strip’s highlights will be the free fireworks show, launched from the tower of the Stratosphere.
