Bally Gaming’s QuarterMillion$ wide-area progressive slot hit for $271,318.38 last week at Treasure Island (TI) on the Las Vegas Strip.

The winner, Constance Mayer, a schoolteacher from Bakersfield, California, and her traveling companion, were in Las Vegas on the first leg of a six-week, cross-country road trip.

They stopped off at the "T.I." where she played the QuarterMillion$ In The Money slot machine for 30 minutes before lining up the super progressive’s winning symbols. She plans on using part of her winnings to help finance her cross-country trek.

The award was the 29th time a QuarterMillion$ jackpot has been won nationally and the second time in eight days that the wide-area progressive has paid out big numbers in Nevada. Nationally, QuarterMillion$ has now paid out a total of $8,901,417.36 in jackpots to lucky winners. In Nevada, QuarterMillion$ has paid out $3,579,611.01 to date.

Resetting at an impressive $250,000, the QuarterMillion$ progressive link offers one of the highest minimum progressive jackpots ever for a three-quarter, instant-pay slot. The name "QuarterMillion$" also refers to the game’s 25-cent wager and the chance to win the lucrative super progressive prize for just 75 cents a spin.

The national deployment of slot titles on the QuarterMillion$ link includes Lucky Wheel, Tower of Power, In The Money and QuarterMillion$ Frenzy. A number of new reel-spinning, video and hybrid QuarterMillion$ games in a variety of denominations are currently in development.

QuarterMillion$ slots are available for play at casinos in Nevada, New Jersey, Louisiana and Mississippi, and selected Native American casinos stretching from New York and Connecticut to California.
