This past weekend, Rock Star Poker returned to the Palms Casino Resort where a lucky customer won $10,000 and played poker with rock greats Gene Simmons (Kiss), Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains).

The weekend began with a tutorial session for players by tournament host and world renowned poker expert Phil Gordon.

The poker orientation was followed by a private "meet and greet" session with Simmons, Navarro and Cantrell.

After the tournament, the winners attended an exclusive after-party in the infamous Real World Suite at the Palms. The 2,900 square-foot, three-bedroom suite has become the most sought after high-roller suite in town.

Winners were chosen from registrations at the tournament’s official web site, vegasrockstarpoker.com, as well as from radio promotions in New York, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The sweepstakes began July 5.
