As summer winds down and fall winds begin to blow, we turn to Monday night football for a season-long run of cheap eats, wild parties and great giveaways.

Always a favorite, Sam’s Town Live! will host free parties on Monday nights throughout the football season. The doors open at 5 p.m. each week and admission is free along with your first hot dog and Miller Lite beer (burgers and ”˜dogs are a buck afterward). Games are shown on multiple TVs including a huge 32-foot screen. Drawings for prizes are held weekly and one lucky guest will win a 2005 Dodge Ram truck at the end of the season.

Sister casino, Jokers Wild, celebrates with a similar promotion on Monday nights. The football parties are held in the casino’s banquet room with doors opening at 5 p.m. Expect lots of freebies including free admission, first hot dog, first draft beer, prizes and a half-time contest. Throughout the evening stadium food is served for $1.

The Brew Pub inside the Monte Carlo is another great choice to view the Monday night action. There are weekly drawings and the private VIP skybox is a great place to catch the games in style, luxury and comfort!

Throughout the week, you can quench your beer thirst at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur or Arizona Charlie’s Boulder with 75-cent Coors or Coors Light bottled beer. The special is available at all casino bars (not in restaurants) and is considered ongoing until further notice.

Silverton’s newest dining destination, the Mermaid Restaurant and Lounge, pledges prompt service for lunchtime diners, or the meal is free. On Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the staff will deliver your entrée within 20 minutes of ordering, or it’s free. During these lunch hours diners also enjoy 20 percent off all food on the restaurant’s extensive menu — excluding alcoholic beverages.

A free fall concert series has kicked off at Barley’s Casino & Brewing Company in Henderson. The concerts are held in the outdoor courtyard area every Friday night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The line up includes the classic rock band Phoenix on Sept. 16, Old School classic rock on Sept. 23 and a rhythms-and-blues show featuring Julius on Sept. 30.
