Riding a wave of success that has seen international membership growth, implementation of standards, and an opening of its standards to the entire industry, the Gaming Standards Association will end its fiscal year on a high note at its annual meeting during G2E this week.

Featured is a keynote address by Bally Gaming and Systems Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Bob Luciano. The meeting takes place September 14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Bally is a long-time Platinum member of GSA. In his speech, Luciano will address the topic, "New Doors Have Opened: Impact of S2S and BOB on Casino Operations." He will cover current implementations, as well as cast an eye to the future of the next phase of implementation.

"Last year was the ”˜Year of Delivery.’ GSA fulfilled its promise and delivered protocols to the industry," said GSA President Peter DeRaedt. "2005 is the ”˜Year of Adoption,’ and once again success is being seen as GSA’s standards are being adopted worldwide. It is because of dedicated GSA members like Bob that we are able to deliver on our promises, and that standards are being adopted around the world."

The meeting is open to the general public.
