I really like some games this week in the colleges so we will see if we can get on a roll.

Iowa +7 at Ohio St.: Revenge doesn’t get any bigger than this in the Big Ten as the Hawkeyes humiliated the Buckeyes last year 33-7. Tressel has been waiting for this one all year. OHIO ST.

Ga. Tech +11 at Va. Tech: After big win at Auburn, GT has had its hands full with North Carolina (27-21) and UConn (28-13). VT has won and covered all three this year. A must play. VA TECH.

Maryland +3 at W. Forest: Wake is 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS, with the win coming against East Carolina after almost blowing a big lead. Maryland is off gut-wrenching late-game losses to Clemson (28-24) and W. Virginia (31-19). Terps are 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings. MARYLAND.

Arkansas +16 at Alabama: The Razorbacks were crushed 70-17 by USC. Now they must travel to "Tide Land" and face a top team with big time revenge on its mind. ALABAMA.

UNC +9 ½ at NC State: The Heels could only manage five points at home against Wisconsin last week. I think the Pack defense is as good. State has lost four straight to Heels. NC ST.

Memphis -1 at Tulsa: I have no respect for this Memphis offense and much love for the Golden Hurricanes. This looks like Tulsa time to me. TULSA.

Michigan -3 at Wisconsin: I will be all over the Wolverines in this game even with Lloyd Carr on the sidelines calling the shots. Michigan was very unlucky and stupid in ND loss, managing just 10 points despite marching up and down the field. Michigan has a great defense. Look for a big effort. BEST BET: MICHIGAN.

Last week: 6-5

Season: 12-16

In the NFL, I am through trying to beat the Steelers. You probably should make a play on the Patriots this week.

Here’s my best play.

Bengals -3 at Bears (40): Last week the Lions really made the Bears look mighty. It will be a very different story here. The Cincy offense will be too much for the Bears. BENGALS.

Last week: 1-1

Season: 2-2
