Often overlooked, Circus Circus still provides locals and tourists alike with some of the best bargains on the Las Vegas Strip. Start with the free circus acts performing on high wires above the casino floor plus a variety of other acts including clowns and acrobats. The circus entertainers perform from 11 a.m. to midnight daily and kids are welcome.

Secondly, for cheap eats Circus Circus scores with a $9.99 prime rib dinner special offered in the Pink Pony Café every Sunday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The 12-ounce cut includes potato, vegetable, rolls and soup or salad.

For late-nighters, hit the Pony for a $3.99 breakfast graveyard special that includes two eggs, hash browns, toast, bacon or sausage and coffee. The breakfast special is available from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. In addition, the Circus Buffet is among the least expensive on the Strip and runs $8.99 for breakfast, $9.99 for lunch and $10.99 for dinner.

Gamblers will like the free funbook just for the asking in the gift store. The booklet contains match-play coupons, side bets and other discounts for attractions, shopping and more.

Finally, Adventure Dome located at the rear of the hotel, is a popular indoor amusement park that will be transformed this month into the Fright Dome, described as the "Ultimate Halloween Event." It features four haunted houses and runs through October 31.

Because it is October, get ready for more Oktoberfest celebrations. Last week we covered some of the events at Hofbrauhaus .
