Bally Gaming reported last week that its QuarterMillion$ wide-area progressive slot hit for $289,356.41 at the Bellagio in late September.

Angela Chan of West Covina, Calif., won the super-progressive jackpot on a QuarterMillion$ In The Money slot machine at the upscale gaming facility on the Las Vegas Strip.

She was at the Bellagio to see the hotel’s famed garden conservatory and was attracted to the game’s winning design. Saying that she "had a feeling she should play this game," Chan played just $20 before winning the thrilling super-progressive jackpot. She plans to use the money to open a non-profit family unity center in her community.

The award was the 39th time a QuarterMillion$ jackpot has hit nationally, pushing the overall payout total to $11,825,546.96 in jackpots paid to lucky winners from coast to coast.

Resetting at an impressive $250,000, the new QuarterMillion$ progressive link offers one of the highest minimum progressive jackpots ever for a three-quarter, instant-pay slot.

The name "QuarterMillion$" also refers to the game’s 25-cent wager and the chance to win the lucrative super progressive prize for just 75 cents a spin.

The national deployment of slot titles on the QuarterMillion$ link includes Lucky Wheel, Tower of Power, In The Money and QuarterMillion$ Frenzy. A number of new QuarterMillion$ games in a variety of denominations and styles are currently in development.

QuarterMillion$ slots are available for play at casinos in Nevada, New Jersey, Louisiana and Mississippi, and selected Native American casinos stretching from New York and Connecticut to California.
