Extraordinary hotel accommodations are nothing new in Las Vegas, but the suites at George Maloof’s Palms Casino Resort are definitely among the "for the guest who has everything" category.

The latest in the Palms’ outrageous accommodations is the "Hardwood Suite," the ultimate split-level suite for the basketball enthusiast.

True to its name, the Hardwood Suite is the only suite in the world with an indoor basketball court, complete with a hardwood floor, regulation backboard and hoop, and a locker room, among other "just for fun" amenities.

The new suite, which will be unveiled later this month, is just one of the amazing new mega-suites in the new 347 room "Fantasy Tower" at the Palms.

The $600 million expansion project also includes a recording studio, a new pool, a 2,200-seat showroom and a 50-story condo-hotel and spa.

The Hardwood Suite is located on the third floor of the new tower and consists of a two-level, 10,000-square-foot party room complete with its own basketball court, locker room, scoreboard, pool table, poker table and dance floor. The suite will also include three NBA-sized Murphy beds, dining area, living/media room, Jacuzzi tub and 42" plasma TVs.

"The Palms set the standard for themed hotel rooms by creating the world-famous Real World the world-famous Real World suite," said George Maloof. "With our expansion, we will design some of the most extraordinary and unique luxury suites ever built in the world."

For those who don’t remember it, the Real World suite features over-sized furniture; plus the Playpen suite features an exotic dancer’s pole, among other amenities.

Hotel officials said the new Hardwood Suite, which will be unveiled Oct. 27 when the Sacramento Kings basketball team comes to town to play the L.A. Lakers at the Thomas & Mack Center, can be customized with team jerseys and a fully-stocked bar,

"If that isn’t enough, add the excitement of your own cheerleaders," said a Palms salesperson.

A basketball suite with a fully-stocked bar and the Laker Girls? Who could ask for anything more!
