The now closed Boardwalk Hotel Casino will be auctioning off its contents on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. at the property. The sale includes casino memorabilia, decor, restaurant equipment, hotel room furniture, patio furniture, lighting, casino chairs, 21, craps and roulette tables, barstools, all outside landscaping, ice machines, the famous Ferris wheel and the shooting gallery. Auction-goers can preview the items beginning at 8 a.m. Grab a piece of Las Vegas history!

The Sahara is running special deals on Thursdays: Club Sahara members can pick up 2-for-1- coupons for the buffet, 2-for-1 well drinks at selected bars, 2-for-1 fajitas in Paco’s Restaurant, 2-for-1 payouts for a suited natural in blackjack, and a double payout on a second royal flush when you hit within a "specified timeline."

"Masquerade After Hours" is a new nightlife freebie at the Rio. Enjoy the club experience without the misery of long lines and cover charge right in the Masquerade Village. Performances are every Friday and Saturday night through the month of January. A live DJ will spin upbeat tunes from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. creating a hot dance club environment. In addition, four sultry and energetic shows, beginning at midnight, will feature a powerful cast of sexy singers and dancers. The DJ will spin in between shows from the balcony of the Masquerade Village. Show times are midnight, 12:45 a.m., 1:30 a.m. and 2:15 a.m.

Also at the Rio, sports fans can now enjoy gourmet, wood-fired pizzas, grilled burgers and Bratwursts without missing a play at Sports Kitchen, the new restaurant connected to the Race & Sports Book. Sports Kitchen features an open, action packed kitchen where guests can see their food being prepared. Sports Kitchen is open daily from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Terrible’s Hotel and Casino has added a new Saturday Brunch from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $9.99 per person. Featuring authentic tastes of the world, the complete buffet schedule is as follows: Breakfast: Monday -Friday, 7 a.m.-10 a.m. ($4.99;) Lunch: Monday —Friday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. ($6.99;) Dinner: Friday — Wednesday, 4 p.m.-9 p.m. ($9.99;) Seafood Night: Thursdays, 4 p.m.-9 p.m. ($12.99;) and Champagne Brunch: Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. ($9.99.)

Quick news: After a short run, Memphis Championship Barbeque has closed inside in the Santa Fe Station. They plan to open a Feast Buffet coming soon. Although delayed, Orleans is still planning to open a TGI Friday’s in the spring.
