Meal deals abound all over Las Vegas

Finding meal deals has been easy this month and we found even more to share.

Out on Boulder Highway, Nevada Palace is running a shrimp dinner special and a rib dinner plate for only $4.99 each this month at the Boulder Café. You must be a Player’s Circle slot club card member, which is always free to join, and then show your card to the server when ordering. The lasagna dinner is a 2-for-1 one this month too. The specials may not be listed on the menu, so be sure to ask.

Next door at Sam’s Town, the Zagat Award winning restaurant, Willie and Jose’s Mexican Cantina, is now open seven days a week for dinner and Friday through Sunday for lunch. Lunch entrees start at $5.95. They also feature a daily Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with 2-for-1 cocktails.

Marilyn’s Café at Tuscany Casino is serving "Special Nights at the Café." Tuesday is Pasta Night which includes your choice of pasta and sauce in an endless pasta bowl plus soup or salad and dessert for $4.95. All-you-can-eat peel and eat shrimp is available on Wednesdays for $9.95; it is also served with soup and salad. Thursdays and Saturdays are prime rib nights. An entrée of Prime Rib is served with baked potato, vegetable of the day, soup or salad and dessert for $9.95. Go for the crab legs on Friday nights for $10.95.

Downtown at the El Cortez Hotel & Casino, Careful Kitty’s Café is serving a prime rib special this month for $7.95 or a steak & shrimp meal deal dinner for only $9.95. These specials are available 24 hours, seven days a week.

On the Strip, the Stardust, now in its final year of existence, has a 24-hour Chuckwagon Dinner for $12.95 served in the Island Paradise Café. It’s a one-pound T-bone served with your choice of potato, corn on the cob, cowboy beans, rolls and butter and a salad or soup. If you’d prefer a big cowboy breakfast, you can get the same steak served with three eggs any style plus breakfast potatoes and biscuits with country gravy. The Island Paradise Café also still features its long-running steak and lobster special served 24/7 for $12.95 or a half an orange glazed chicken dinner for just $6.95. Look for $3 off coupons often scattered around the hotel for even more savings on these Café specials.
