new Rewards club

(Editor’s note: Grouch Marx (and later Woody Allen) liked to say that he wouldn’t want to join a club that would have him as a member.

But in Las Vegas, he’d probably say he never met a club he didn’t like.

Slot clubs are the current rage in Las Vegas casinos, but players need a telephone book-sized notebook to keep track of them.

Never fear, GamingToday begins a new feature this week that chronicles Nevada’s slot clubs and reward programs.)

The Silverton Casino Hotel Lodge has launched its Discovery Ultimate Club Experience — a new points-based player’s club program to reward the casino’s guests with offers from the property’s retail, dining, entertainment and lodging amenities.

The first, or Copper, level rewards gamers with comp options to all casino and hotel outlets, including the popular retail outlet Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World (up to $25 per month). The next level, Silver, offers comp options toward all outlets, including Bass Pro Shops (up to $50 per month) as well as special room rates for the players and their non-local guests and room upgrade opportunities.

Rewards for the Gold level include comp options to all outlets and Bass Pro Shops (up to $100 per month), four free room nights in a deluxe room per month with suite upgrade opportunities, VIP hotel check-in and host privileges. Players reaching the Platinum level receive comps to all outlets and Bass Pro Shops (up to $500 per month), twice-yearly opportunities for point redemptions toward gift and travel programs, six free room nights in a deluxe room per month with suite upgrade opportunities, VIP hotel check-in, host privileges, a restaurant line pass, VIP entertainment seating and special holiday gift catalogs.

The pinnacle Diamond-level players are treated to comps to all outlets and Bass Pro Shops (up to $1,000 per month), twice-yearly opportunities for point redemptions toward gift and travel programs, eight free room nights in a suite per month, VIP hotel check-in, host privileges, a restaurant line pass, VIP entertainment seating, special holiday gift catalogs and limited access to the casino’s private jet.

Additionally, table game players are welcome to participate in the Player’s Club program. These players will receive new money-based card levels similar to the slot club levels and will receive the same casino, hotel, retail, dining, entertainment and lodging benefits with each corresponding level, as well as additional monthly mailed loyalty rewards, free bets coupons and monthly merchandise giveaways.

One Discovery point is equivalent to one dollar coin in. Players will qualify for their respective card levels based on a static six-month rating period. When a player achieves a new card level, they will enjoy all the benefits associated with that card level for the remainder of the six-month period. If a player achieves a new card level midway through the six-month rating period, they will enjoy the new benefits for both the remainder of the current period, as well as the following period.

The Silverton Casino Hotel Lodge is located three miles south of Mandalay Bay at I-15 and Blue Diamond Rd/Dean Martin Drive.
