Bodog.com — a Caribbean-based off-shore race and sports book — announced last week an advertising deal to complement its online, print, radio and television campaigns.

In conjunction with Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air, Bodog.com takes its message to the skies, whose friendliness could depend on the U.S. Department of Justice.

Earlier this year, the DOJ won a settlement against the Sporting News, which it had accused of promoting illegal Internet gambling by publishing advertisements for online gaming sites.

Although Allegiant Air doesn’t publish a magazine, six of its large passenger jets will be externally and internally branded in the Bodog.com logo and colors.

The Bodog.com plane wrapping will be easily visible to travelers waiting to board flights to and from McCarran Airport. Allegiant flies between Las Vegas and 32 nonstop domestic destinations. The planes will be parked at Terminal D in McCarran Airport, near the airport’s busiest runway.
