GULFSTREAM

CAN’T STOP LYNNE ”” She was hung out five wide early and challenged for the lead on the far turn, but was no match after going the overland route. Watch for better post.

COBRA ”” Showed good speed from outside post and set the pace on the inside only to tire in final furlong. This was a good tightner and all signs point this one is on edge to graduate.

ARTIC ALERT ”” Stumbled coming away from the gate and fell far back early. Made a strong steady run and had to angle out on the turn and just missed in a head bob at the wire. Clean start is all that is needed for this one to finish on top.

ICY FLIRT ”” Broke from post eight in last and was unhurried early before making a strong five wide move on the turn and finished well. She shows ability and only needs to be a little closer to the pace to get home on top.

KALU ”” Broke very slow while breaking next to last and was unhurried early before finding his best stride and was caught four wide on the turn and finished very strong on the turf to just miss. This one only needs a clean break to get the job done.

AQUEDUCT

BOLDLY AMERICAN ”” While breaking from the extreme outside post showed good early speed, but was caught in three wide speed duel before tiring in the stretch. Look for better post and it will be graduation time.

SUN BRUSHED ”” She broke from post eight and showed good speed dueling two wide going the long mile throughout to just miss. Should graduate next time out.

FOR OPENERS ”” She showed good speed in her debut and gained some racing experience. A play if Aaron "The Rider" Gryder stays aboard.

FRENCH REIGN ”” While breaking from extreme outside post she showed good speed while going three wide throughout and finished gamely to just miss. This is another one ready to leave the maiden ranks.

TOP BUNK ”” Showed good speed while racing outside under a strangle hold before making a three wide move on the far turn and finished gamely to the wire. This one is on edge for a winning performance.

SANTA ANITA

CYBER PATROL””Save ground early on the turf and had to check on the backside before finding his best stride while making three wide move on the far turn and finished strong. Only needs a clean trip to finish on top.

TINA DYNAMITE ”” While racing from well off the rail and lagging off the pace, she made a good move splitting horses and raced three wide into the lane making a strong late bid to just miss at the wire. This one is on edge for a winning performance.

DIM SUMS ”” This one drifted out before settling down a bit off the rail and made a big three wide move on the turn and closed well to miss by a length. Strong connections here suggest this one is ready to score next time out on the turf.

GOOD JOURNEY””Off slow last time on the turf and trailed for ¾ of the mile before finding his best stride only to encounter traffic problems late and just missed. Only needs a clean start and he’s home free.

GOLDEN GATE

JOANNE APPLE ”” This Murrtheblurr filly showed good early speed while pressing the pace but quickly tired. This looks like it was a good speed tightner because she has strong connections. Could pop at a price next time out. Beware!

MISS STORMING GOLD ”” She comes out of the same barn as above and also showed good speed while setting the pace before giving way. Barn always knows how to use a race to get them ready.

GAVIOTA PASS ”” This comes from another barn that also likes to use a race or two to get his cheap claimers ready. On paper he won’t look like much, but when he pops he will pay huge dividends. Keep an eye on the exotics.

CRUSADING PRO ”” This one had a three wide trip throughout while breaking from the outside post and now switches to the powerful Hollendorfer Barn. If Baze stays aboard next time then watch out!

SUSPICIOUS MINDS ””The late Jens List "only wanted to breed the best" at his Double Bar "S" Ranch and this one is no exception. This talented turf runner is out of the sire Paranoide from Argentina. He broke from the outside post and was carried out five wide on the far turn in last before giving way. Look for this one to pay big double digits on the turf next time out!
