Easter Sunday, April 16, will be a special day to celebrate and dine out — most casinos will be offering restaurant specials in all price ranges, like those found at Sam’s Town.

Known for its large portions, everything’s bigger at Billy Bob’s Steakhouse & Saloon this Easter. Guests can try the marinated tender lamb shank feast, glazed in a hearty osso bucco style sauce and served with wild mushroom barley risotto for $28. Or for $25, seafood lovers will delight in the pine nut encrusted swordfish meal, drizzled in balsamic sauce and served with tender asparagus spears over Billy Bob’s famous rice. Billy Bob’s will serve their Easter dinner specials from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Fresh Harvest Café offers two traditional meals for the holiday. The Tom turkey meal, for $8.99, offers a bountiful serving of tender golden turkey sauced up with signature gravy, dressing and mashed potatoes. The Cornish game hen feast, for $9.99, serves up a hen stuffed with wild rice blend and bread dressing and drizzled in cranberry glaze. Both meals come with fresh vegetables and an "all you can eat" soup and salad bar. The Fresh Harvest Café will serve Easter specials from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Firelight Buffet has created an extensive Easter menu for the holiday season. Or, try the tempting almond encrusted pork chops and southwestern chicken cordon bleu. The Firelight Buffet also offers a meat carving station with juicy honey baked glazed ham, plump golden turkey breast, rosemary roasted leg of lamb and prime rib. These selections are $13.99 for Prime Rewards Members. The Firelight Buffet will serve their specialty items from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The buffet will also serve its daily items until 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

Rampart Casino will be serving a special Easter buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for $14.95 per person. The main entrees will include Seafood Newburg, Halibut in herb butter, herb crusted game hen, pork loin with apple stuffing, duck a la orange and broiled N.Y. steak.

Rack of Lamb will be the Easter dinner special at Ellis Island Casino. Served in the Restaurant and Celebration Square, the meal includes Rosemary Red Potatoes, sautéed zucchini and squash and a choice of soup or salad for $14.95 per person. Serving hours will be from 11 a.m.to 10 p.m.
