This event is free to the public and will feature a variety of the country’s best wing makers, in addition to live entertainment, beer specials and a meet-and-greet with the 2006 Hooters Calendar Girls. For the last five years at this time of the year, classic car enthusiasts have brought their finest vehicles to the Fremont Street Experience to showcase in a Vegas setting like no other. The sixth annual "Vegas Cruise" is gearing up to be the biggest yet, with every available space already filled with 155 registered vehicles set to roll out May 19-21. The general public is invited free to view these classic cars and dance the night away with free concerts from The Winter Dance Party and Sydney Justin, former lead singer of the Miracles.

The cars will be on display at the Fremont Street Experience Friday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday night features free live concerts from The Winter Dance Party, the official live and authentic re-creation of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper’s final tour and the only show endorsed by both the Holly and Valens estate.

Looking ahead to next week, veteran Las Vegas female impersonator Kenny Kerr will emcee the talent showcase at the 6th annual Celebrity Impersonators Convention, May 28-31, at the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino. The talent showcase and brunch — Tuesday, May 30, noon to 2 p.m. — is the highlight of the convention, giving impersonators the opportunity to promote themselves to agents and producers.

Tickets for the show only are available to the public for $15 at the Show and Tour Desk or by calling 888-777-7664.

Kerr, a Las Vegas favorite since his days at the Silver Slipper, became world-famous starring in the long-running revue "Boy-lesque." In addition to appearances by impersonators of Paris Hilton and Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone look-alike Marti Ornest will attend this year’s convention for the first time.
