LA CAT — Was allowed to be outrun early while settling to trail the field before she found her best stride and going wide for the drive to finish very strong for the place. Needs to be a little closer to the pace.

DELTA QUICK — She was forced to chase inside speed when breaking from outside post and was wide throughout before tiring in the stretch. Look for better post.

NEW MUSIC — She stumbled at the start and trailed, but quickly recovered and showed good speed throughout to gain the place. With a clean start, she goes wire-to-wire.

MAX PATCH — Had to race wide throughout at 11/16 miles and still gained ground from last to get the place. Look for a better post.

GIVING NOREEN — Broke her maiden in strong fashion while going the long mile with a four wide trip in both turns and still won with plenty left. She could be something special as she now tackles winners for the first time.

EQUIDEED — She was taken back early to trail the field before she found her best stride going three wide on the far turn before tiring late in the stretch. She just needs to stay closer to the pace.

REIN ON ME — Buried on the rail, he was forced to check going into first turn and again in the stretch before fading far back. Look for him to find a more favorable post.

KAMAAL — Bumped at the start, she was pinched back early. Making a move on far turn, was forced to check but still closed strong to get the show dough. Needs to get a clean break to stay close to the pace.

PERFECT CAT — Bailey let him settle back early before finding his best stride while making a three wide move on the far turn, but it was too late to catch the winner. Play him back if Bailey stays aboard.

THAT COOL CAT — Broke from outside while showing good speed and dueling for the lead going four wide on turn and finished willingly. Watch for better post.

HIGH WALDEN — This Frankel trainee was allowed to settle back early before going four wide down the backside. Went three wide on the far turn and closed strong to just miss. This one’s on edge for a winning performance.

BEAUTIFUL NOISE — She was allowed to settle back early before finding her best stride, advanced around the far turn, went six wide into the lane and rallied to finish third. May find a soft spot against allowance company.

CAPO DI CAPO — Caught up in a speed duel on the rail, he fought back gamely through the lane and finished second. If he gets to set his own fractions, he won’t be caught.

AXTEC — She stalked the pace and then split horses late to just miss. Now racing for new barn may be the trick for the win.

KRISTOPHER KROSS — He was allowed to settle back early before making a big three wide move around the far turn, continued to rally through the stretch, but had to check late and just missed. Only needs a clean trip.

SPAN — Ducked in at the start and off slow before settling in on the rail. Made a late bid splitting horses, but a little too late to graduate. Next time!

POPULAR YEAR — "Mickey" Martin trainee was allowed to settle early before finding his best stride and trying to split horses. Had to check and then swing out for the drive to just miss. Martin has this one on edge to graduate.
