Giants put the icing on Ravens

It’s still difficult to comprehend that these two unlikely opponents will meet in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Ravens are an inflated three-point favorite, on the premise that Matt Stover will kick more field goals than Brad D’Aluiso — a helluva reason when you go back to the game versus the N.Y. Jets when QB Vinny Testeverde of the Jets shredded the Ravens’ vaunted defense for 525 yards.

I don’t mean to imply that Kerry Collins can put up the same numbers. Remember, if one QB can do it, another is capable. The Ravens have a great defense, but their offense better come to play or they’ll be down 14 before they can get started. Giants are lucky and hot. That’s a tough combination to beat.

Giants win going 24-13. Plus 3 is icing on the cake.
