Beginning on Friday, the Rio will host the World Series of Poker’s Gaming Life Expo, in which fans can learn, experience and purchase the hottest poker products available.

Also on display will be a variety of gaming lifestyle products such as apparel, jewelry, books, magazines, art and cruises.

Among the celebrities scheduled to appear at the expo are poker champions such as Chris Moneymaker and Joseph Hachem, as well as fan favorites Marcel Luske, Paul Darden, Liz Lieu, Spike Measer, Isabelle Mercier and John Duthie, to name a few.

Attendees may also meet TV stars, movie celebrities, radio personalities, poker book authors and ex-Playboy bunnies including Heide Bressler from the Apprentice, Wil Wheaton, Larry Grossman and Richard Sparks.

There will be a stage with live entertainment throughout the expo, as well as car, cash and prize giveaways. One exhibitor will provide attendees the chance to win $1 million.

In addition players can test their skills against some of poker’s biggest stars, including Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari.

A poker certified hypnotherapist will be presenting mini-workshops teaching attendees how to master the game. Patrons will be able to try the new official video game of the WSOP from Activision.

The expo is free and open to the public (you must be 21 or older). The schedule is as follows: July 27-30, from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and July 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The expo is set to coincide with the start of the World Series’ $10,000 buy-in championship event, which kicks off on July 28.
