Gamblers in Milwaukee will soon have more games than ever at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino. A $240 million expansion will triple the gaming floor space, double the number of slot machines (to more than 3,000) and triple the number of table games for a total of up to 150.
A ceremonial groundbreaking took place at the end of August. A 2008 completion date is being projected, with the addition of 1,000 new employees. If financial projections are correct, the tribe could more than double its revenue, bringing in up to $570 million a year, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
