Here is an almost complete list of four way nines, with their attendant odds for one of hitting a 9, 8, and 7:
As you can see, there are quite a variety of four-way-nines available to play! Some of these tickets are obvious stiffs, and Keno Lil wouldn’t play them even under the influence of a full moon and three shots of Tuaca!
For example, the 4-4-1-1-1-1 and the 6-1-1-1-1 fit in this category. Save this chart, and next time we will talk about some of the more interesting tickets here.
In the meantime, why not try 4-3-3-2-2, for a four-way-nine, three-way-eight, and three-way-six.
It’ll cost you five bucks at fifty cents per way. Now this is not the best four way nine (the 5-5-4-4 is) but it is serviceable, and also has an interesting eight-spot and six-spot breakout.
It is a "field" ticket, with the four-spot being the field. The field of four figures into all four of the nine-spot ways, one of the eight-spot ways, and two of the six-spot ways.
So this is a great ticket to play if you are confident that a particular four spot is going to come up!
On a scale of one to five spikes, with five being the highest, Keno Lil rates the 4-3-3-2-2 ticket: 3½ spikes
