Wynn slot promo targets Vegas locals

The Wynn Las Vegas slot department wants to catch the attention of Las Vegas locals.

A brand new F360 Ferrari should do the trick.

The $200,000 Italian sports car is up for grabs for slot players, but only those who are residents of Clark County, Nevada. Others need not apply!

"We wanted to do something for the Las Vegas locals market," said Brandon Cox, public relations manager at Wynn Las Vegas. "We’re giving away the Ferrari just for signing up for a Red Card."

The Red Card is the casino’s player’s card. Drawing tickets for the Ferrari will be awarded to Red Card players now through February 6 (one ticket for every 1,000 points earned).

The drawing for the Ferrari and other prizes will take place at 7:30 p.m. on February 6.

To kick-start the promotion for new players, Wynn is offering one complimentary drawing ticket and $50 in free credit for every local who signs up and provides an email address.

"For players not familiar with Wynn Las Vegas, our casino has a lot to offer for slot players," Cox said, adding that all the popular games in all denominations — from penny slots to $500 slots — are available for play.

More than 20 percent of the machines are video poker games — the game of choice for many locals, Cox added.

"Players find that, because of the configuration of the casino and the accompanying amenities, there’s no reason to ever leave the resort," Cox said. "The casino floor is laid out in an intimate setting, and our air filtration system is state-of-the-art so non-smokers are seldom bothered by smoking players."

Indeed, the Wynn casino is one of the most elegant in Las Vegas. In addition to all the popular slot games, the Wynn restaurants and its buffet are superb, as are the other amenities such as the spa and golf club.
