Circus Circus in Reno makes it easy to win money in its "Easy Money Slot Tournament." Each day from 10:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., players may join the tournament for their choice of entry fees: $5, $10 or $15. The more players pay to enter, the more money they can win. Prizes are based on individual player scores. Free buffets are given to players scoring between 6,500 and 7,499. Players scoring between 7,500 and 7,999 win a commemorative Easy Money T-shirt or baseball cap; between 8,000 and 8,499 a free round of play.

Entrants paying a $5 entry fee and scoring more than 8,500 points can win cash prizes ranging from $10 to $500. Entries that are $10 can win cash prizes ranging from $20 to $1,000. Entrants paying $15 can win cash prizes ranging from $30 to $2,000, depending on their score. VIP Club members can redeem VIP Club points for tournament entries. Players winning slot or video poker hand paid jackpots of $250 or more receive a free entry.

At the Colorado Belle in Laughlin, (a sister property to Circus Circus), players can try their luck in the daily (Wo)Man vs. Machine Slot Tournament. Players aren’t playing against one another for the highest score, nor is the top prize limited to one player. Players have 10 minutes to pound out a score high enough to win comps, prizes, or cash.

Once reaching certain levels (set daily by the casino), players could win a free buffet, a hat or other logo prize, or they could score high enough to win back their entry fee, double their entry fee, or win $1,000, $2,500, or $4,000.

Players get to choose their entry fee. They can pay $10 for a chance to win up to $1,000; pay $20 to win up to $2,500; or pay $30 to win the top prize of $4,000.
