Kings in name only

It’s all coming apart for the Sacramento Kings.

Losers of five straight, the Kings now would like to deal Ron Artest after all the work they did trying to acquire the crybaby talent last year.

Apparently Oklahoma City is making a push for land an NBA team once the Hornets return to New Orleans permanently. Who knows what the Maloofs will do by then, with chances of building a new Arco Arena virtually nil.

WEDNESDAY

Lakers at Spurs: San Antonio is starting to crank up that tough defense. Ginobili looks to be back and Duncan is putting those double doubles together. Big night for Bowen against Kobe. SPURS.

Suns at Rockets: McGrady and Battier back at home, which gives Rockets a real shot against the high-octane Suns. ROCKETS.

THURSDAY

Pacers at Heat: D-Wade in the lineup has Miami playing good ball once again. Indiana can be tough, but you never know how healthy Jermaine O’Neal is. Jason Williams playing his best ball. HEAT.

Lakers at Mavs: We think off a loss to San Antonio that Lakers will come back with better effort against Dirk & Company. LAKERS.

FRIDAY

Pistons at T’wolves: Detroit is struggling of late and KG is playing great. ESPN game will fire up the home boys. WOLVES.

SATURDAY

Grizzlies at Clippers: Memphis scored 66 points on the road last week against the Bulls. Enough said. CLIPPERS.
