It’s not too late to make plans for a romantic Valentine’s Day. Restaurants throughout Las Vegas are preparing for one of their busiest days of the year.

Ellis Island Casino & Brewery will be serving a special meal for lovers on Valentine’s Day featuring a lobster dinner and a complimentary glass of champagne for $24.99 per person. They can accommodate more guests than usual by utilizing both their restaurant and Celebration Square (the banquet room) to serve dinner from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

All ladies dining in Roberta’s downtown at the El Cortez on Valentine’s Day will receive a complimentary rose with dinner.

The award-winning Twin Creeks Steakhouse inside the Silverton Casino Lodge will be serving seductive Valentine’s Day specials Wednesday, Feb. 14. Hungry romantics will not be able to refuse the delectable menu additions. For starters, the oysters Rockefeller are sure to hit the spot. This unique dish comes with a half dozen of the rich treats for $12. As an entrée, the mixed nut encrusted seared halibut is served with mango chutney and paired with coconut tempura scallops on a bed of jasmine rice and asparagus for $29.95. Or the crab and lobster stuffed veal chop comes breaded, baked, and served over seasoned greens and topped with a pink champagne beurre blanc and balsamic vinaigrette for $34.95. Guests will be wined and dined at Dan Marino’s Fine Food and Spirits at Hooter’s Hotel Casino this Valentine’s Day with an exceptional menu created for the special occasion. Couples can indulge in the tender New York Strip, the popular Surf-N-Turf or dive into a succulent Lobster Oreganatta topped with seasoned breadcrumbs and baked ”˜till golden brown. After dinner, lovers can enjoy a duo of sensual dessert specials such as New York Style Cheesecake dripping with whip cream, or a mini almond basket filled with a saucy raspberry sorbet and fresh seasonal berries.

On Tuesday, Feb. 20, The Cannery will celebrate its 4th anniversary with a casino-wide party from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free cake and champagne will be served and the casino staff will be handing out anniversary t-shirts to guests playing at machines and tables.
