Harrah’s set to export
poker to jolly London

Harrah’s appears ready to export a big poker event to Europe, probably something intended to promote its World Series of Poker in England, and exploit the fact that Internet gaming is legal in the UK.

This apparent planning is based on at least two factors. The company has essentially completed its purchase of the London Clubs organization. This is an important deal that was largely over-looked, what with the focus of interest on the pending purchase of Harrah’s.

Basing a major poker tournament at one or more of the London Clubs in a country where Internet gaming is legal would appear to give Harrah’s solid footing in the best of all worlds, as it concerns poker.
