Gambling Gourmet, the latest dining innovation to hit Las Vegas casinos, will provide players with slot- and table-side dining at El Cortez Hotel & Casino beginning this March. Players can continue gambling while eating without ever having to leave their seats or the machines. Menu items will include appetizers, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Gambling Gourmet will initially be available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. El Cortez’s Gambling Gourmet is the first time a Las Vegas-based gaming property has provided dining service to all slots and table games on the casino floor. Typically, properties limit this service to high-limit poker rooms.
"By accommodating our players and by providing a service they can’t find anywhere else, we’re making the overall experience more enjoyable for our players," said Mike Nolan, General Manager/COO of El Cortez Hotel & Casino. "Gambling Gourmet offers quality food at a low price and it’s just another way we’re taking care of our loyal players."
Each individual order will be served on a rolling cart that is a convenient height for players sitting at slot machines and for those at table games. A linen napkin will tastefully cover the cart and food will be served on china with silverware.
The El Cortez is also offering a room special. Buy two nights in February or March and receive a free night’s stay in April.
Also downtown, the California Hotel Casino is currently serving all domestic beers at casino bars for $2.25.

Players at the Sahara can earn double comp dollars on Wednesdays and spend comp dollars on Sundays and Thursdays for twice their value.
Barley’s Casino in Henderson has a "Slammin’ Brew Special" every Saturday in March from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Brewer’s Lounge. Pitchers of micro-brewed beer are just 2 for $10.
Until next time, eat well, play well, stay well.
