It’s a good week to wear green and be Irish — or at least pretend to be! There are plenty of corned beef specials, green beer and festivities going on in honor of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, Saturday, March 17.

The annual Celtic Feis (festival) will feature a rolickin’ indoor/outdoor party offering the best in traditional Irish fare and toe-tapping jigs. A three-day party inside Nine Fine Irishmen and outside on New York-New York’s Brooklyn Bridge will kick-off Friday, March 16 beginning at 11 a.m. The merriment will continue throughout St. Paddy’s Day weekend until the wee hours of March 18. Sin E RiRa, Nine Fine Irishmen’s house band, and Elevation, a U2 cover band, among other performers, will provide entertainment. Tickets start at $20.

The Eldorado Casino and Joker’s Wild Casinos in Henderson will be offering a special St. Patrick’s Day dinner consisting of Corned Beef & Cabbage served with new potatoes and baby carrots plus the all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar for only $7.99 per person.

For $9.95 per person, Ellis Island Casino and Brewery will be offering a similar deal on St. Patrick’s Day only. It includes Corned Beef & Cabbage, red bliss potatoes, a choice of soup or salad plus a special "lucky charm" dessert and a complimentary green EIB (Ellis Island Brewery) beer. Serving hours will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the restaurant.

Wildfire Casino, a smaller Station Casino located on Rancho across from Texas Station has a super "on-the-cheap" deal on St. Patrick’s Day for Corned Beef & Cabbage for $5.95 served with red potatoes. Stop in from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for the special. The casino will also be running a whopping 7x points for all Wild Card players on the Irish holiday.

Free entertainment downtown for the St. Patrick’s Day weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) includes Loveshack, Riders of the Thunderdome and Whiskey Galore, all performing under the canopy of lights at the Fremont Street Experience.

Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop inside Jerry’s Nugget Casino in North Las Vegas is running a prime rib special for the month of March for just $7.99. The special includes your choice of soup or salad, garlic or French bread and rice or potato. Serving hours are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly.
