NHL: Vancouver hanging tough

May 1, 2007 9:18 AM

We’ve settled on San Jose, Anaheim and Buffalo advancing to the Stanley Cup semifinals.

The one series in doubt is New Jersey-Ottawa, which looks to be going the full 7. We’ll side with the Devils in that case.

Sabres +100 vs Rangers: The Rangers got back in the series with a double overtime win. Game 4 is a must for New York, but Buffalo is just too strong. Miller bounces back in the nets. SABRES.

Ducks -145 vs Canucks: This Vancouver team reminds me of Golden State in the NBA. They just won’t quit. Anaheim, like Buffalo, too deep. DUCKS.

(best 4-of-7)

Sabres v Rangers: Buffalo up 2-1

Devils v Senators: (tied 1-1)

Red Wings v Sharks: (tied 1-1)

Ducks v Canucks (Anaheim up 2-1)
