COZY DANCE — This New York bred made a strong showing in his debut after checking hard in the first turn, but quickly regained his composure to finish a game second. Should graduate next time out.

TICKLE ME TOO — She raced strong last time out even though the rider lost his whip at the quarter pole. She still continued to move up for the place. This one’s on edge for a winning performance.

PREOCCUPIED — This 3-year-old maiden deserves another chance. After breaking from the extreme outside post, he had to race wide around both turns and was still able to finish third. Look for a better inside post.

GULFSTREAM

FAVORITE FIGHTER — Allowed to settle back early before finding his best stride, he had to angle out in the drive to gain second. Now switches to Allen Borosh.

HE FLIES — Had to break from an outside post and was caught three wide on the turn on a day when there was a strong inside bias. Now racing for new connections.

T.B.’S STORM — Broke from the rail, but got pinched off speeding into the first turn. He was forced to take back to last before finding his best stride and had to swing extremely wide when entering the stretch. Now races for Peter Walder Barn.

GOLDEN GATE

JACKPOT JAN — Had to stalk the pace and was wide on both turns before she gave way. Bobby Martin takes over the training duties.

JUST FOR TARA — Broke very slow in last before finding her best stride to race three wide on far turn. Still finished third. A better start is needed to graduate.

FLYNDOLL — This Mickey Martin trainee broke very quickly from the nine hole only to get caught in a speed duel while racing two wide throughout. Deserves another chance.

SANTA ANITA

ENDEARMENT — She got caught in a speed duel. Had to race between horses before dropping back on the turn, but never regained her momentum. Switches to the powerful and always dangerous Hollendorfer Barn.

MELLOW MISS — She got caught in a three wide speed duel in her last sprint. Continued to race three wide throughout and held on for third. Deserves another chance.

AMERSHAM — He was crowded early, had to fall back before finding his best stride to gain third. Look for McCarron to stay aboard this maiden.
