Pool parties are the way to go for a cheap night out and a good time. Hit the South Point Casino on Thursdays from 7-10 p.m. The $7 admission to the pool party includes two drinks, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a weekly chance to win $500.

The Orleans is running Jazz Night at the pool every Friday in May. Admission is free and party guests receive drawing tickets for prize giveaways. Beverage service is available.

Rehab, the Sunday parties at the Hard Rock Casino, are back (and underway) at the pool this summer. Times are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and admission is $30 for men, $20 for ladies and $15 for local Las Vegas ladies.

Back again for another round of good eatin’, Jerry’s Nugget Casino in North Las Vegas brings back their classic New York Steak and Lobster dinner for just $12.95 this month. This "surf and turf" delight is being served throughout the entire month of May, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. only at Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop (not available for take-out or certain holidays.)

The $12.95 steak and lobster comes with choice of homemade soup of the day or a classic dinner salad mixed with diced tomatoes, cheese, croutons, and choice of dressing. Then a marinated, New York Steak is grilled to your taste and paired up with a succulent, sweet 6 oz. Canadian Cold Water Lobster Tail, steamed in the shell and accompanied with lemon and butter.

Ellis Island Casino & Brewery will be celebrating Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 19. Show your Military ID at the promotions booth from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. and receive a complimentary EIB Beer. There will be random drawings for Patriotic Visors throughout the day too, while supplies last.
