Kudos to Stratosphere race and sports guru Mike Gilmartin for planning a meeting of the movers and shakers in the sports betting industry. The Stratosphere will host this event at a luncheon Thursday, July 19. GamingToday will be among the panel represented in this exchange of ideas and philosophies into the current and future state of sports wagering.

"This gathering is a way for our guys to pick each others brains in determining the best way to approach gaming," said Gilmartin,

whose dad Richard was a longtime casino executive at the Aladdin, Silver Slipper, Dunes, Sands and Horseshoe. "We hope from everyone at the luncheon to get new insights on the betting market and what we should emphasize."
