A guaranteed prize of at least $1 million is in the cards for the winner of the main event of the inaugural Caesars Palace Classic, a one-of-a-kind poker tournament set to run from October 12-24.

Buy-in and registration begins on October 11 with the event kicking off at noon, October 12, inside the Caesars Palace Tournament Poker Room.

Daily mega satellites take place at 7 p.m. and on the 21st, two satellites are available at noon and at 7 p.m. Single table satellites for all events will run everyday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. with the winner receiving buy-in chips for daily events.

There is a minimum one million dollar first-place guarantee for the winner of the championship event to be held October 22-24.

"We are structuring this tournament to be something unlike anything else offered in Las Vegas," said Jim Pedulla, Caesars Palace Poker Room Manager. "The winner of the main event will be guaranteed a one million dollar prize along with the Caesars Palace Classic trophy and an incredible, one-of-a-kind watch that is currently being designed specifically for this event. It is our goal to make this the classiest, most luxurious and anticipated tournament in town."

The Caesars Palace Poker Room features 29 live tables, offering a selection of the most popular games including Texas Hold’em, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha. With over 14,000 square feet, including a 6,000 square foot tournament area and 30 tournament tables, it is the largest poker room on the Strip.

In addition, more than 20 large-screen high-definition TV sets line the walls, along with original Leroy Neiman artwork and Neil Leifer photographs.

Rounding out the amenities, an extensive menu and dedicated cocktail service allow players to have food and beverage delivered directly to tables during play. Players can also receive tableside massages as an added luxury.
