They’ve got royal flush fever in Reno.

At the Atlantis, royal flush and top award slot jackpot winners will be awarded one Royal Flush Derby point through midnight May 5. Then at 4 p.m. May 6, the entrants with the highest number of derby points get $10,000 for the win, $5,000 for place and $2,500 for show. Right after that, bonus drawings are held, with one winner of $1,000, three winners of $500, and 20 winners of $250 each.

Through April 30 at the Sands Regency, natural royal flush winners (must have players card inserted) get entries into weekly drawings on Mondays at 5 p.m. Three winners are drawn. First wins a second payout for the amount won on the royal that qualified them for the drawing. Second and third each win a dinner and show package for Tony Roma’s and Just for Laughs. Winners have 48 hours to claim their prize.

Come April 30, the player with the most qualifying royal flushes (from February 19 through April 30) wins $10,000. Second place pays $5,000; third, $1,000; fourth, $500; fifth, $250; sixth through tenth, $100 each.

At Circus Circus in Reno, you decide your prize in the Easy Money Slot Tournament. It runs daily from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Players are given a choice of three entry fees — $5, $10, or $15 — that determine their winnings. Players don’t play against one another. They try to reach scores set by management that make them eligible for prizes. Players scoring 6,500 to 7,499 points receive a meal in the Courtyard Buffet; 7,500 to 7,999 points, an Easy Money hat or T-shirt; 8,000 to 8,499 points, their entry fee is returned; 8,500 or more, cash ranging from $10 to $500 for the $5 entry fee; $20 to $1,000 for the $10 entry; $30 to $2,000 for the $15 entry fee.

Every 30 minutes between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. one winner is drawn through the Players Club to win $25 in free gas.
