This week, gaming professionals from around the world will descend on Las Vegas, the Mecca of commercial gaming, for Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2007, the primary annual convention for the gaming industry.
By all indications, this year’s convention should be bigger and better than ever before. Based on early registrations, attendance is projected to exceed 30,000, easily eclipsing last year’s mark of 28,000.
The increase in attendance will be echoed by incredible growth in show floor exhibit space, event sponsorships, international and food and beverage exhibitors, and conference/panel discussions.
"G2E has attracted an increasing number of international gaming professionals each year, and our early numbers indicate this in fact may be one of the best years for growth in the history of the event," said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the American Gaming Association.
