IGT has the ‘right vision’

Nov 13, 2007 7:26 AM

Gaming giant IGT plans to offer "The Right Vision — Right Now and For The Future" at this week’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

As the gaming industry evolves toward an "open" network environment, IGT will demonstrate The Right Vision in games, systems and products available now, as well as those in development.

"Tests are already under way at casinos to pave the way for the open network. However, our emphasis at G2E 2007, as always, will be on products available right now for our casino customers," said Steve Morro, IGT’s Chief Operating Officer. "We’re focused on how we can maximize their return on investment right now."

Three trailblazing MegaJackpots products will take center stage: the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade slot featuring a multi-layer 3-D display, the Star Wars Multi-Level Progressive video slot, and the eBay video slot.

IGT’s M-P Series multi-player games will feature Roulette Revolution, Golden Baccarat and Triple Towers horse racing versions, and Digideal table technology will be represented by five game themes including Digital 21, DragonBacc and Texas Hold ”˜Em.

Casinos of the future will feature "server-based" gaming and downloadable slots, and IGT will be at the forefront of the new technologies. Toward those ends, IGT Network Systems will feature a special "Power of Open" display to help educate the industry on an open network and a host of products under the IGT Advantage Casino System, IGT Mariposa Software Suite, and sb Products families.

IGT Advantage Systems on display will include IGT Advantage Bonusing, NexGen and sb NexGen multimedia player tracking panels, NexGen Delivery Games, the Visual Slot Performance tool, and the EZ Pay system with Guaranteed Play.

The sb Products on the floor will include configuration, card-in and menu recognition, the Service Window (a gold award winner for Most Innovative Products at the 2007 Casino Technology Summit), future game and marketing applications, and a new user interface that will be applied to all Network Systems products.

New IGT video slot themes will include Golden Tiger Eternal Dragon and Fame & Fortune, both two-level progressives; Golden Gate, featuring the industry’s first horizontal expanding-wild symbol feature; Lion Dance, Desert Spirit, Lil’ Lady and Mayan Riches.

In addition to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Star Wars MLP and eBay, the MegaJackpots product line will spotlight the Diamond Jackpots and World Poker Tour Multi-Level Progressives, Wheel of Fortune Super Spin Video Slots Five-Station, Multi-Strike Triple Diamond, and two new themes — New York and Hawaii — on the Wheel of Fortune Multi-Level Progressive slot.

New spinning-reel themes will include several multi-progressives: 5-reel, 30-line Sizzling 7 and 4-reelers Silver Fire 7s and Thunderbird 7s, as well as Double Fire Opal MultiWay and Triple Jackpot MultiWay. New video poker themes are Ultimate 4-of-a- Kind, Multi-Strike Poker Deluxe, and four new Action Gaming themes: Random Rewards Poker, Friday Night Poker, Good Times Pay Poker, and Quick Quads.

Guaranteed Play, the first product of the Walker Digital/IGT collaboration, will be on display in products ranging from video poker to video slots and table games. Play tickets and property packages will demonstrate how to grow revenues throughout the casino property.
