Keeping with tradition, a small evergreen tree was hoisted last Friday to the top of the new Aliante Station currently under construction, marking the topping off of the concrete structure and signaling the desire for the construction project to remain injury-free.

The $675 million project, the latest from Station Casinos, broke ground in February in North Las Vegas, and is a partnership between Station and the Greenspun Corporation.

The property is scheduled to open December 2008 and will feature:

”¡ 200 hotel rooms

”¡ Complete casino featuring table games, slots, race and sports book and poker room

”¡Six restaurants

”¡ 16-screen Regal movie theatre

”¡700-seat entertainment showroom

”¡ Meeting/convention space

The project is located at the northeast corner of the 215 Beltway and Aliante Pkwy.
