BAY MEADOWS

FOR GOOD - This Brian Koriner trainee lacked early speed and was allowed to settle back early before she found her best stride while making a three wide move around the far turn to get up for the show dough. Play back if Baze stays aboard.

ROUND OF APPLAUSE - This three-year-old filly was allowed to settle back early to trail the field before she was let loose to make a big four wide bid at the 3/8-pole; however, the rider lost the whip at the 5/16-pole to lose all chance. Now racing for the Doug Utley Barn.

SUSPICIOUS MINDS - This Mickey Martin trainee was allowed to settle back early on the turf while breaking from the rail and trailed before finding his best stride down the lane, but was bumped at the 1/8-pole and just missed by a neck.

SANTA ANITA

GERONIMO - This young two-year-old is trained by Leonard Duncan and went off 26-1, just missing the place by a nose going two furlongs. This quarter-horse trainer is dangerous and Geronimo could pop at a nice price.

MAMA LOV - This is another two-year-old from the Duncan Barn who broke from the extreme outside post and just missed by a head at 8-1. This one is on edge for a winning performance.

GWENEIRA - This filly broke slow and trailed early going a mile on the dirt. She made a three wide move on the far turn and closed for the show dough. Watch for this one who is bred for the turf to start on the grass.
