Kentucky: Call 911 fast!

Thank goodness I was on the right side of the UAB-Kentucky game. I still don’t understand why Kentucky let Tubby Smith go. They should be called the Mildcats this year.

On to this week!

Tuesday, Dec. 18

Kansas at Georgia Tech: Unbeaten Kansas is 6-2 ATS and has won its last three games by margins of 37, 18 and 38. Georgia Tech is 2-6 ATS, but is playing its first home game since Nov. 9. This game could be closer than you think. GA TECH.

Kentucky at Houston: The Wildcats will probably come in as a slight underdog. And they should be. HOUSTON.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

Bradley at Butler: Bradley beat Wright State and Butler didn’t. Butler is nationally ranked, but Bradley figures to get close to 10 and is a live dog. BRADLEY

Arizona at UNLV: Wildcats should come to the T&M a slight favorite. The Rebels have been idle forever it seems and could show some rust. ARIZONA.

Thursday, Dec. 20

Pittsburgh at Duke: According to the Parry ratings, Duke should be around a 9 or 10-point favorite tossing in the Cameron edge. If so, the points look good. PITT

Gonzaga at Oklahoma: The Sooners come off a nice home win over Arkansas. The Zags will play anyone, anywhere. This should be a war. GONZAGA

Friday, Dec. 21

Buffalo at Wyoming: Don’t buffalo roam in Wyoming? The host Cowboys are 1-4 ATS and they haven’t exactly played the elite. The Bulls have a chance if they can find Laramie. BUFFALO.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Georgetown at Memphis: The Hoyas are 8-0, but just 3-3 ATS. They haven’t been tested and don’t normally venture far away from D.C. Advantage, Memphis and Calipari, who knows the Big East well. MEMPHIS.

UCLA at Michigan: The Bruins figure to come into Ann Arbor around a 20-point favorite. Upsets usually happen on Saturday, so let’s say the Wolverines treat this like the NCAAs, since they won’t be there this year. MICHIGAN.

Texas at Michigan St: To beat UCLA, Texas has to be plenty good. But so are the Spartans and they almost never lose at home. MICH ST.

Sunday, Dec. 23

Cincinnati at NC State: The Bearcats aren’t the same without Huggy Bear but they did give Xavier all it wanted. NC State is off to a slow start and may be overpriced here. CINCY.
