The Fontana Lounge inside the Bellagio has now re-opened every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Fontana Lounge is located on Bellagio’s casino level and is a great place to enjoy live entertainment and spectacular views of the lake and the famous Fountains.

Buffets are still a good value and bargain in Las Vegas, even with some price increases. Sometimes we even get a surprise and get a lower price. Speaking of Bellagio, the breakfast buffet has actually been cut back a buck to $13.95. Circus Circus on the other hand has increased both lunch and dinner each by $1.50 to $12.49 for lunch and $13.49 for dinner. The Las Vegas Hilton has increased buffet prices $1 across the board. The Rio’s Carnival World Buffet has increased breakfast $1 to $14.99 and the Rio’s Village Seafood Buffet is currently closed for renovations until March.

Senior Day is every Tuesday at the Eldorado Casino in Henderson and Wednesday at Joker’s Wild Casino. Young at Heart Club Members (free to join the club as a part of their Prime Rewards slot club) who are at least 50 years of age (considered "seniors") who earn a minimum of just 50 Prime Rewards club points on the special days receive an $8 food voucher. Both casinos also serve cold draft beer for 99 cents at the casino bars all day, everyday.

Fiesta Henderson and Fiesta Rancho also offer a seniors club. The Fiesta 50 Club is for those whose age is 50+. Starting this month, the special club day returns back to Wednesdays (formerly Mondays.) Fiesta 50 club members receive triple points, ½ points off food and ½ points off for bingo buy-ins (some limitations apply) every Wednesday when you use your Club Amigo card and have been registered for Fiesta 50 at the club booth.

On a sad note, if you are looking for childcare while you visit a casino in Las Vegas, we now have one less in-house casino childcare facility. South Point Casino closed its Kids Tyme last month. But if you love to Salsa dance, South Point is your ticket. Every Thursday night features "Salsero" in the Showroom; a free night of dancing to the music of Michito Sanchez and his Salsa Orchestra.

Until next time”¦ "Eat well, play well and stay well!"
