Shuffle Master, Inc. has announced that the Curly version of the companys The Three Stooges licensed video slot game, developed under the Shuffle Master/IGT Development and Distribution Agreement, has been approved for installation in Nevada.
The first placements took place last week. Gaming Laboratories, Inc. (GLI) is expected to approve the game within 30 days, with the New Jersey approval expected shortly thereafter.
Previously, Shuffle Master had reported that agreements and commitments for over 400 Three Stooges machines had been secured. The Moe and Larry versions of the games are expected to be submitted for approval later this year. (No word about a Shemp version!)
Dr. Mark Yoseloff, President of Shuffle Master, Inc., stated, "The industry buzz and excitement around this product is extremely encouraging. We are pleased to have the game approved and to begin casino placements."
Two additional games under the Shuffle Master/IGT Development and Distribution Agreement are also in various stages of the development and approval process. Lets Make A Deal was submitted to gaming authorities in March and The Honeymooners is expected to be submitted by the end of May.

WMS Gaming Inc. has announced that it will distribute its new video slot game Hollywood Squares, based on syndicated television game, exclusively with Harrahs.
WMS agreement with Harrahs includes a comprehensive, national multi-media marketing campaign for the new game. Following approvals by the appropriate regulatory agencies, the Hollywood Squares-themed slots would be initially available solely at Harrahs.
